Is CNFans still working?
No. Community trackers such as rep.tools report that CNFans closed in August 2026, and it no longer takes orders. That's a big deal because CNFans was one of the largest agents: about 27,100 US and 308,500 global monthly searches, a 4.2 TrustScore from around 13,000 Trustpilot reviews, and Spain its biggest market. Before the end it reportedly stopped processing Weidian orders. Its website may still load; that doesn't mean it's operating.
- CNFans reportedly ends referral commissions (date unverified) and stops Weidian purchases; a wave of "CNFans is shutting down" posts follows, which turned out to be premature.
- Search interest falls for four straight months.
- CNFans shuts down and stops taking orders.
Why did CNFans close?
No official public explanation gave a clear reason. The industry context is enforcement pressure around trademark-infringing goods, which also hit Pandabuy in 2024 and is reported around Mulebuy in 2026. Agents whose trade depended heavily on unlicensed branded goods have repeatedly proved fragile, and their customers' balances and parcels are exposed when they fall.
CNFans vs Superbuy: what former CNFans users should know
| Superbuy | CNFans | |
|---|---|---|
| Status | Operating since 2012 | Closed, August 2026 |
| Fee on Taobao | CN¥0, published | n/a |
| Storage | 90 days free, 180-day max | n/a |
| Branded goods | Published policy on infringing items; may refuse unlicensed branded goods | n/a |
| Trustpilot | 4★, 1,000+ reviews | 4.2★, ~13,000 reviews (historic) |
The main adjustment for former CNFans users is Superbuy's policy on infringing items: Superbuy may refuse or cancel unlicensed branded goods, so a spreadsheet full of them won't transfer cleanly. For genuine and unbranded goods, the process is the same: paste a link, check QC photos, consolidate, ship.
Why the January rumours were wrong, and August wasn't
In January 2026 a wave of "CNFans is shutting down" videos appeared around the time CNFans reportedly ended its referral commissions. Creators who lost that income had a reason to push followers elsewhere, and CNFans kept running for months. The August closure was different: orders stopped. The lesson for any agent rumour is to look for operational evidence (orders moving, support replying, recent reviews) rather than videos alone, which is how we build our status board.

CNFans FAQ
Is CNFans shut down?
Yes. Community trackers such as rep.tools report that CNFans stopped taking orders in August 2026, after search interest had dropped for four straight months that summer. Its website may still open in a browser, but a page that loads isn't proof the agent is working. If you still see it advertised, ignore it and place new orders with an operating agent such as Superbuy.
Is CNFans legit?
It used to be: CNFans was one of the biggest agents, with a 4.2★ TrustScore from roughly 13,000 Trustpilot reviews and about 308,500 global monthly searches. That history doesn't help you now, because it closed in August 2026. The question has a short answer today. Don't pay CNFans or any site using its name; move your buying to an agent that's still running.
What happened to my CNFans balance?
Write to CNFans about the balance and any stored items, and screenshot your account page, order history and every reply you get. Then check whether your card or payment provider's dispute window is still open. Since the August 2026 closure, getting money back isn't guaranteed. File a chargeback as soon as you can rather than waiting on a reply that may never come.
What is the best CNFans alternative?
Superbuy, KakoBuy, Oopbuy and Sugargoo are all still operating; our alternatives page and status board track which agents are open. For former CNFans users, Superbuy offers a published CN¥0 fee on Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688 and a 4★ Trustpilot score from 1,000+ reviews. Convert your old links first, then start with one small Superbuy order.
Can I still use CNFans spreadsheet links?
Not on CNFans itself, since it stopped taking orders in August 2026. Most CNFans spreadsheet links still carry the original Taobao, Weidian or 1688 item, so our link converter can pull out a clean link to paste into Superbuy. Superbuy may refuse or cancel branded goods under its published policy, so convert the links and expect some listings not to carry over.
Did CNFans close because of a raid?
There's no confirmed raid. CNFans gave no clear public reason for its August 2026 closure. The background is enforcement pressure on agents over unauthorised branded goods, the same pressure behind Pandabuy's 2024 raid and reported around Mulebuy in 2026. Agents that depended on branded copies have proved fragile, so stick with operating agents and keep each order modest.
How long did CNFans take to ship?
Like any agent, CNFans delivery times depended on the shipping line, but that's now academic: it hasn't taken orders since August 2026. On Superbuy, each line in the shipping calculator shows an estimated delivery window for your address, so you can weigh price against speed before paying. Pick a tracked line for your first Superbuy parcel so you can follow it end to end.
Is CNFans safe?
No. CNFans shut down in August 2026, so there's no working service left to be safe or unsafe. The real risk now is sites or accounts using the CNFans name to collect payments, which is easier after January 2026's shutdown rumours confused many buyers. Don't send money to anything branded CNFans; if you're owed a balance, pursue it in writing and through your card's dispute process.
How did QC work on CNFans, and how does it work on Superbuy?
CNFans posted warehouse photos, as most agents do. On Superbuy, free QC photos appear once an item is stocked, and you can pay CN¥2 per detailed photo or CN¥5.50 for a detailed inspection. If something looks wrong, you can ask for a return to the seller before paying for international shipping. For expensive or fiddly items, the CN¥5.50 inspection is worth adding.
