Why a 2025 Superbuy spreadsheet stops working
A spreadsheet is a snapshot. The day it is shared, every row points at a live Taobao or Weidian listing at a known price. Twelve months later the same sheet is a mix of rows that still work, rows that open a different item, and rows that open nothing. Three things do the damage.
- Sellers relist. Taobao shops remove, reprice and repost items constantly, often under a new item number. A link from a 2025 sheet can lead to a "this item is no longer available" page even though the shop still sells the product.
- Agents disappear. Many 2025 sheets wrapped every link in another agent's format. Pandabuy closed after its April 2024 raid, WeGoBuy went dark in 2025, AllChinaBuy shows only a maintenance notice, and CNFans was reported closed in August 2026. A link that starts with a dead agent's domain fails before it ever reaches Taobao.
- The rules around the order changed. Payment options, duty and tax rules all moved between 2025 and 2026, so the notes column of an old sheet ("pay with PayPal", "no customs under $800") can now be wrong even when the link works.
What changed for Superbuy buyers since the 2025 sheets
These are the changes that most often make an old row's advice wrong. Each is covered in more detail on the linked page.
| Topic | What many 2025 sheets assume | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Paying Superbuy | PayPal at checkout | PayPal removed (notice dated 21 October 2024); cards, Wise, Alipay, WeChat Pay and UnionPay listed. See Superbuy PayPal |
| US parcels | Small parcels enter duty-free | Duty on every parcel from China since the de minimis exemption ended on 2 May 2025. See Superbuy tariffs |
| EU parcels | No duty under €150 | €3 duty per product type from 1 July 2026, plus VAT |
| Purchasing fee on Taobao | CN¥0 | Still CN¥0 (Taobao, Tmall, JD, 1688) |
| Free storage | 90 days | Still 90 days, then CN¥0.10 per item per day, 180 days maximum |
| Agent-format links | Pandabuy, CNFans, WeGoBuy links | Those agents are closed; extract the original item link instead |
Updating a 2025 row in five minutes
You don't need to rebuild a sheet from scratch. Work through it row by row and keep the rows that pass:
- Pull out the original linkPaste the row's link into the link cleaner. It returns the plain Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address even when the row was wrapped in a closed agent's format.
- Open the listingIf the page is gone, search the shop name or the product photo on Taobao; the item is often still sold under a new number.
- Compare price and optionsNote the current yuan price and whether the size or colour you want still exists. Old prices in a 2025 sheet are only a guide.
- Paste into SuperbuyPut the clean link in Superbuy's search bar to create the order page. Taobao items carry no purchasing fee.
- Write today's date in the rowA sheet with check dates tells you which rows to trust next time.
Which old rows are worth keeping
Not every row deserves the five minutes. Rows that point to a shop with many similar products, or to everyday categories such as hoodies, T-shirts, bags and phone accessories, usually survive a relist because the shop keeps selling the same thing. Rows built around one exact listing, a limited drop or a seller nobody can find again are the first to die.
That is why the finds catalog on this site lists categories with the Chinese search term Taobao uses, rather than thousands of single links: a search term keeps working after any individual listing disappears. Use an old sheet for ideas, then run the category's search term on Taobao to find a live seller.
And the 2024 sheets?
Sheets from 2024 have the same problems, only more of them. Many were built for Pandabuy, which stopped trading after its April 2024 raid, so almost every link needs extracting before it can be used anywhere. The PayPal note is also wrong for Superbuy, which removed PayPal later that year. Treat a 2024 sheet purely as a list of shop names and product ideas.
Where to look for current finds instead
If you would rather not repair an old sheet at all, three places on this site stay current without anyone editing them: the photo gallery at the top of this page, which pulls a new set of finds every month; the category catalog with search terms and packed weights; and the comparison of Superbuy spreadsheets, which explains how the large merged sheets work and how to check a row before you pay. For the full ordering routine, start with how to buy Taobao through Superbuy.
Superbuy spreadsheet 2025 FAQ
Is there a Superbuy spreadsheet for 2025?
Plenty were shared in 2025, but they were snapshots, and many rows now open removed listings or closed agents such as Pandabuy, WeGoBuy and CNFans. The sheet is still useful as a list of shops and product ideas. Run each link through the link cleaner, open the live listing and add a check date before you order anything from it.
Why do links in my 2025 Superbuy spreadsheet not work?
Usually for one of two reasons: the Taobao seller relisted the item under a new number, or the row was wrapped in another agent's link format and that agent has since closed. The link cleaner extracts the original Taobao, Weidian or 1688 address from most wrapped links. If the listing itself is gone, search the shop name or photo on Taobao instead.
Did Superbuy's fees change after 2025?
Not for Taobao. Superbuy still charges a CN¥0 purchasing fee on Taobao, Tmall, JD and 1688 items, with 90 days of free storage and CN¥0.10 per item per day after that, up to 180 days. What changed is around the order: PayPal is gone and US and EU import rules are stricter. Recheck payment and duty notes in any old sheet.
Can I still pay with PayPal like an old sheet says?
No. Superbuy posted an urgent notice removing PayPal on 21 October 2024, so any 2025 sheet that tells you to pay that way is out of date. The payment methods listed now include cards, Wise, Alipay, WeChat Pay and UnionPay. A credit card is the closest match to PayPal's buyer protection, so use one and pay for each order as you place it.
Is a 2026 sheet better than a 2025 one?
Only if it has been checked recently, and a date in a sheet's name is not proof of that. What matters is whether each row opens a live listing at the price shown. Look for sheets with check dates per row, or use sources that refresh themselves, such as a gallery that changes monthly or a catalog of search terms. Judge a sheet by its rows, not its year.
