Is Pandabuy back?

No. Pandabuy, a Hangzhou-based agent founded in 2019, stopped operating on 11 April 2024 after a raid in an enforcement action over trademark-infringing goods, with brand owners behind the complaint. Days earlier, on 31 March 2024, personal data of over 1.3 million of its customers had been leaked on a hacking forum. Wikipedia records a verdict in the raid case in April 2026 (we haven't found the court record), and pandabuy.com is offline. Operations and inventory were seized, users were left with stuck parcels and frozen balances, and it never reopened. Two and a half years later people still search for it (about 18,100 US searches a month, the US being its largest market), and "is Pandabuy back" gets around 260. Sites claiming to be a revived Pandabuy should be treated with suspicion.

What Pandabuy's collapse means for choosing an agent

Pandabuy became the template for how agents fail: a sudden enforcement action, no warning, and customers' money and goods frozen. Every major agent failure since, including CNFans in August 2026 and the unconfirmed Mulebuy raid rumours, has been compared with it. The lessons are practical:

• Pay per order. Don't keep a balance or pay in advance.
• Don't store items longer than you need. Ship consolidated parcels regularly.
• Pay with dispute rights. A credit card chargeback can be your only route after a collapse.
• Avoid trademark-infringing goods. Agents built around unlicensed branded goods have been the ones raided, and seized goods are simply lost.
